The grandson of a Kentucky coal miner, Ed Lynch is a writer with coal dust, journalism and politics still in his blood. A former reporter for WKYT-TV in Lexington, KY, Ed has also worked as a speechwriter for former Kentucky Governor Wallace Wilkinson and Director of Communications for former Kentucky Attorney General Chris Gorman. He was press secretary for three winning statewide campaigns.
He has also held executive-level positions in technology and web development, including Webmaster for The Jockey Club Information Systems and Web and Publications Manager for Thomas and King, both of Lexington.
Ed is a collector of rare books and first editions, and enjoys baseball, good wine, and good food. He is the father of two sons, both of Lexington.
He holds a B.A. in Broadcasting from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, and is pursuing an M.S. in Managing Information Technology from Sullivan University, Lexington.
